Achanta Sharath Kamal (Telugu: ఆచంట శరత్ కమల్ ) (Tamil: அச்சந்த சரத் கமல்) born on 12 July 1982 is a professional table tennis player from Tamil Nadu India. His mother tongue is Telugu. His current world rank is 53th in the world. Sharath is considered to be one of the best TT player India has ever produced. He won the men’s singles gold in the 16th Commonwealth table tennis championship held at Kuala Lumpur in 2004. He is a recipient of the Arjuna award for the year 2004.
