Shannon Vreeland (born November 15 1991) is an American college and international swimmer who is freestyle events and Olympic gold medalist. She was a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team and won a gold medal in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She is part of the current American record in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay.Vreeland was born in St. Louis Missouri to Connie and Daniel Vreeland and has a twin sister Michelle.
