Shane Dowling (born February 1993) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a right wing-forward for the Limerick senior team.Born in Caherdavin in Limerick Dowling first excelled at hurling whilst at school in Ard Scoil Rís. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Limerick minor team before later lining out with the under-21 side. He made his senior debut in the 2012 National Hurling League.
