Shaletta Tawanna Porterfield won the 2011 Miss Wisconsin USA pageant held in Fond du Lac Wisconsin on Sunday September 19 2010. The 2003 Walled Lake Central (Michigan) High School graduate was competing in her first pageant when she became the third black woman to win the Miss Wisconsin USA crown (previous years were 1996 and 2008). Porterfield reigned as Miss Wisconsin USA until she resigned the title on May 12 2011.
