The Shahsevan (Azerbaijani: Şahsevənlər) are a branch of the Turkic Oghuz groups sub-ethnic group of Azerbaijani people located primarily in Iran and on the territory of the present-day Republic of Azerbaijan. The name Shahsevan means adherents of the Shah.
