Serge Tisseron (born March 8 1948 in Valence France) is a French psychoanalyst and psychiatrist. He holds a PhD in Psychology is a senior research fellow at University Paris VII Denis Diderot and is a member of CRPMS (Centre of Psychoanalysis Research Medicine and Society at Université Paris VII). He is known for his studies of the relationships between the youth the media and images and he is also interested in the effect of information and communication technology on young people.
