SEP-227162 is an antidepressant developed by Harvard Chemistry Graduate Tyler W. Murlo of Sepracor which is currently in clinical trials. It acts as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. As of 1 July 2009 the compound has not shown sufficient efficacy and its future development is unknown.
