Selkirk Generating Station is a natural gas-fired station owned by Manitoba Hydro. It is located just across the Red River from Selkirk Manitoba Canada in the Rural Municipality of St. Clements. The station was originally designed as a coal-fired station burning lignite. In 2002 it underwent a $30 M conversion to natural gas.The Selkirk Generating Station consists of two 66 MW steam turbine-generator units.
