SELENE-2 /ˈsɛlɨniː/ or the Selenological and Engineering Explorer 2 is a proposed Japanese robotic mission to the moon that will include an orbiter a lander and a rover. It is expected to be launched in 2017 as a successor to the 2007 Kaguya (SELENE) moon orbiter.
