The Scottish National League (currently named the RBS National League for sponsorship reasons) is an amateur league competition for rugby union clubs in Scotland. It forms the 2nd tier of the Scottish League Championship.The league’s winner is automatically promoted to the top tier of Scottish league rugby (The RBS Premier Division) and the runner-up is entered into a play-off with the 2nd bottom team from the RBS Premier Division.
