Scott Eugene DesJarlais (/ˈdeɪʒɑːrleɪ/; born February 21 1964) is an American physician currently serving as U.S. Representative for Tennessee’s 4th congressional district after winning re-election to a second term on November 6 2012. The district the state’s largest stretches across a large and mostly rural swath of East and Middle Tennessee. He is a member of the Republican Party.
