Science in Action is a long-running weekly radio programme broadcast on BBC World Service Radio currently hosted by British journalist Jon Stewart. Stewart spent five years at BBC Radio 1 before taking over as host of Science in Action. The program is believed to have officially become known as Science in Action in 1964. It replaced an earlier show called Science and Industry which was started in the 1950s.
