The Scarlet Skier (real name Dren Keeg) is a DC Comics supervillain/superhero. Created by Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMatteis during their comedy Justice League period he first appeared in Justice League America #36 (1990).The Scarlet Skier is the herald for a cosmic being known as Mr. Nebula. He is a parody of the classic Marvel Comics character the Silver Surfer who is a herald for a cosmic being known as Galactus. The Skier doesn’t wish to be a herald.
