The Sammarinese Communist Party (Partito Comunista Sammarinese PCS) was a communist party in San Marino.It was founded in 1941 and early became the largest opposition party to the governing Sammarinese Christian Democratic Party (PDCS) gaining always around 20–25% of the vote much less than its Italian counterpart the Italian Communist Party (PCI). However between 1945 and 1957 it governed the country in coalition with the Sammarinese Socialist Party (PSS).
