Sameura Dam (早明浦ダム Sameura-damu) is a dam on the Yoshino River in the island of Shikoku Japan completed in 1978. It is the largest dam on Shikoku. Sameura Dam created a reservoir behind the dam named Lake Sameura (さめうら湖 Sameura-ko). The dam is used for hydropower flood control tap water and irrigation. The hydropower plant can generate 42000 kW.
