Salvatore Ronald Matano (born September 15 1946) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church and the bishop of Rochester New York. He previously served as Bishop of Burlington. Prior to that since April 2005 he served as Coadjutor Bishop there. He was appointed in November 2013 by Pope Francis to serve as bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester in Rochester New York succeeding Bishop Emeritus Matthew H. Clark who retired at age 75 in September 2012.
