Sachi Koto was a news anchor on CNN Headline News for 16 years usually during weekend evenings until her contract expired in July 2005. At age 54 CNN decided not to renew her contract. She is also a founder of WWAAAC (Who’s Who in Asian American Communities).Koto is a third-generation Japanese American. She worked at various radio and television stations in Atlanta and Tokyo for nine years before joining CNN.
