for other saints called Sabinus see SabinusSabinus of Hermopolis (also known as Abibus and Phanas) was a procurator possibly bishop and Christian martyr of Hermopolis in Egypt. During the persecution of Diocletian he and several other Christians concealed themselves in a hut.
