Samuel Hubbard Hays (May 18 1864 – November 17 1934) served as mayor of Boise Idaho from 1916 to 1919.Hays became Boise mayor in June 1916 after his predecessor J. W. Robinson was removed from office by a recall election. He was elected to a full two-year term in 1917.He had previously served as attorney general of Idaho from January 2 1899 until January 7 1901 having been elected in 1898.
