Sándor Liezen-Mayer or German: Alexander von Liezen-Mayer (24 January 1839 – 19 February 1898 Munich) was a Hungarian painter.He was born in Győr and attended the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. From 1862 he was a student of Carl von Piloty. In 1867 he left the Academy in order to work as a portrait painter.
