Ryan Hunter-Reay (born December 17 1980) is a professional American race car driver best known as a multiple race winner in each of North America’s top open wheel formulas CART the Champ Car World Series and the IndyCar Series. He won the IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year award in 2007 despite only competing in six of the seventeen events and Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year honors in 2008.
