Rush is a Canadian progressive rock band originally formed in August 1968 in the Willowdale neighbourhood of Toronto Ontario currently composed of bassist keyboardist and lead vocalist Geddy Lee guitarist Alex Lifeson and drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
