Ruma Acharya-Deysarkar is an Indian-American entrepreneur. She has studied B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur from 1969 to 1973. Ruma Acharya-Deysarkar worked for Getty Oil and Texaco and Baker Hughes in Oil and Gas Industry in Houston. She founded Grounded Technology and grew the business to employ 50 people – in Construction and Environmental Science area focused in Texas.
