Ross Abbey (born 21 January 1953) was an Australian rules football player. He played with Footscray now known as the Western Bulldogs in a variety of positions but mostly on the half back flank and as a ruck rover. He is the son of Angus Abbey who was a member of Footscray’s 1954 premiership team. He played most of his junior football with Wesley College Melbourne and Strathmore an area traditionally zoned to Essendon. He was recruited to Footscray under the father/son rule.
