Rosmersholm (pronounced [ˈrɔ̞̈smɛ̝rs.ˌhɔ̞̈lm]) is a play written in 1886 by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. In the estimation of many critics the piece is Ibsen’s masterwork only equalled by The Wild Duck of 1884.
