The Roseville Public Library was established in 1936 in one room of the Municipal Building of Roseville in Macomb County Michigan approximately 4.5 miles from Detroit. The library moved to its own building in the 1960s and into the newly constructed civic center in 1974. It currently circulates approximately 250000 items annually.This mid-sized suburban class IV library belongs to the Suburban Library Cooperative.
