Ronald MacDonald (born 1955) is a Scottish economist specialising in applied exchange rate analysis through econometric techniques. He is currently the Adam Smith Professor of Political Economy at the Adam Smith School of Economics and Finance (University of Glasgow) in the University of Glasgow.
