The Portuguese Catholic Diocese of Setúbal (Latin: Dioecesis Setubalensis) has existed since 1975. It is a suffragan of the archdiocese of Lisbon. Its see at Setúbal is south of Lisbon. As of 2008 the bishop is Gilberto Délio Gonçalves Canavarro dos Reis who was appointed in 1998.
