The Archdiocese of Acapulco (Latin: Archidioecesis Acapulcanus) is a Roman Catholic Archdiocese located in the Mexican port city of Acapulco Guerrero. It is currently led by Archbishop Felipe Aguirre Franco and auxiliary bishop Juan Navarro Castellanos.The Archdiocese of Acapulco is a Metropolitan Archdiocese; its suffragans dioceses are the dioceses of Chilpancingo-Chilapa Ciudad Altamirano Lázaro Cárdenas and Tlapa.The Diocese of Acapulco was erected on March 18 1958.
