The Rocky Mountain Rage are an inactive professional ice hockey team in the Central Hockey League. Their first season was in 2006-07. They played their home games at the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield Colorado. On June 18 2009 the team announced it was ceasing operations for the 2009-10 CHL season with hopes of returning in 2010-11; however the team’s website has been taken down likely eliminating much of the hope for the franchise’s return.
