Robert Walter McElroy (born February 5. 1954) is the Roman Catholic titular bishop of Gemellae in Byzacena and auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco California.Born in San Francisco California McElroy was ordained to the priesthood for the San Francisco Archdiocese on April 12 1980. He earned a B.A. in history from Harvard University in 1975 and an M.A. from Stanford in 1976. He attended St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park CA.
