Robert Paul Hanrahan (February 25 1934 – January 7 2011) is a former U.S. Representative from Illinois.Born in Chicago Heights Illinois Hanrahan was educated in the public schools. He attended Thornton Community College (now South Suburban College) in Harvey Illinois from 1952 to 1954. He earned a B.S. at Bowling Green State University in 1956 and a M.Ed. from there in 1959.
