Robert Lawrence Gernon (July 29 1943 – March 30 2005) was born in Sabetha Nemaha County Kansas. He was a 1966 KU B-School major who studied law at Washburn University in Topeka Kansas graduating in 1969. Within ten years he became a district judge in Kansas 22nd District. (1979–88). Bob was also trial advocacy instructor at University of Kansas School of Law.
