Robert Fife is a Canadian journalist and author who has been the CTV News Ottawa bureau chief since February 2005. Fife is also executive producer of CTV’s daily political show Power Play with Don Martin and CTV’s Question Period that airs on Sunday. He is a native of Chapleau Ontario. Fife has been covering national politics since 1978. He began his career in the parliamentary bureau of NewsRadio and moved to United Press International of Canada in 1983.
