Roar Ljøkelsøy (born 31 May 1976 in Orkdal) is a Norwegian ski jumper. Ljøkelsøy’s early career was not particularly brilliant. While considered almost flawless technically he did not win an individual World Cup event until 25 January 2003 at age 26. However he was very consistent at a high level in both 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 seasons always finishing second in the World Cup table behind Finland’s Janne Ahonen.
