Ripsaw is a Top Spin ride at Alton Towers theme park in Staffordshire England. It was opened in 1997.The ride was manufactured by Huss Rides a German company who had previously installed a similar ride at Chessington World of Adventures (Rameses Revenge) in 1995. The ride is a ‘Top Spin’ in which riders sit in a 20 seat wide two tier gondola rotated by a pair of enormous arms and allowed to freely pivot.
