Richard John Ricky Hatton MBE (born 6 October 1978) is an English former professional boxer who is also a boxing promoter.He is a former WBA (Super) IBF IBO and The Ring Light Welterweight Champion and WBA Welterweight Champion. After losing his last fight to Manny Pacquiao Hatton put his career on a long hiatus with rumours of a comeback circulating the media since. However on 7 July 2011 Hatton announced his retirement from boxing.
