Richard Neil Inwood (born 4 March 1946) formerly Archdeacon of Halifax was the Anglican Bishop of Bedford from 2003 to 2012.Inwood was born in Burton-on-Trent and studied chemistry at University College Oxford and theology at Nottingham University. Before ordination Bishop Inwood spent a year teaching in north-west Uganda and worked as a research and development chemist with ICI in Manchester for nearly two years.
