Richard Edwin Fox (February 3 1956 – February 12 2003) was executed by the state of Ohio for the kidnapping and murder of an 18-year-old college student whom he lured to her death with the fake promise of a job interview.A three-judge panel convicted Fox of aggravated murder and kidnapping and sentenced him to death on June 27 1990. He spent 12 years and 7 months on death row as his case was appealed through the state and federal court systems.
