Richard A. Easterlin (born 1926) is University Professor and Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California.He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association and a Member of both the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Easterlin is also a former Guggenheim Fellow and a past president of both the Population Association of America and the Economic History Association.
