Raynald was a Benedictine Bishop of Nocera. Born around 1150 in the village of Postignano near Nocera Italy to parents of German descent. He entered the Benedictines monastery at Fonte-Avellana and there he remained until he was appointed Bishop of Nocera in 1217. He remained in this office until his death in 1225.
