Ray McHugh (born 2 July 1938) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL).McHugh was a star player in the Bendigo Football League before joining St Kilda. He topped the league’s goal-kicking in 1956 with 71 goals and at the age of just 16 had been signed by Richmond only to remain in Bendigo. It would instead be St Kilda that got his signature when he moved to Melbourne in 1960.
