Rajiv Chandrasekaran (Tamil: ராஜீவ் சந்திரசேகரன்) is an Indian-American journalist. He is the National Editor of The Washington Post where he has worked since 1994. Originally from the San Francisco Bay area Chandrasekaran holds a degree in political science from Stanford University where he was editor-in-chief of The Stanford Daily.At The Post he has served as bureau chief in Baghdad Cairo and Southeast Asia and as a correspondent covering the war in Afghanistan.
