Rajah Ache of Maynila better known by his title Rajah Matanda (1480–1572) was a 16th-century king of the Kingdom of Maynila a Tagalog kingdom on the region of the Pasig River in the Philippines. He is also sometimes referred to as Rajah Laya a name derived from Ladyang Matanda – an alternate pronunciation of his title.Together with Rajah Sulayman and Lakan Dula he was one of three kings in Manila who fought the Spaniards during the colonization of the Philippines.
