Racemorphan is the racemic mixture of the two stereoisomers of 17-methylmorphinan-3-ol each with differing pharmacology and effects: Dextrorphan – A dissociative hallucinogen (NMDA receptor antagonist) and cough suppressant. Levorphanol – A potent opioid analgesic.
