Quingestanol (INN BAN) is a steroidal progestin which was never marketed. An acylated derivative quingestanol acetate is used as a pharmaceutical drug.While quingestanol is sometimes used as a synonym for quingestanol acetate what is almost always being referred to is actually quingestanol acetate and not quingestanol.
