The Public Transport Authority or PTA is a Western Australian statutory authority. It operates public transport in Western Australia. This authority is the most recently constituted body governing public transport in Western Australia. In previous decades the most commonly remembered name of public transport was of the Western Australian Government Railways which had both railway and road transport services – the same as the current PTA.
