PSR B1828-10 is a pulsar approximately 11812 light-years away in the constellation of Scutum. It is speculated that this pulsar may in fact be a quark star. As of 1992 it was thought that three extrasolar planets orbit the star but these have not been confirmed and are now considered doubtful. If confirmed they may be considered the first quark star planets ever to be discovered.
