Prince of Wales Hospital (Chinese: 威爾斯親王醫院) is a major public and teaching hospital located in Sha Tin New Territories in Hong Kong. The hospital is affiliated with the Medical Faculty of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.Named after and officially opened by Charles Prince of Wales in 1984 Prince of Wales Hospital now provides approximately 1360 hospital beds and 24 hours accident and emergency service with almost 4000 staff.
