The posterior horn (posterior cornu dorsal horn spinal dorsal horn) of the spinal cord is the grey matter of the spinal cord. The term posterior is used in human anatomy indicating that it is the spinal cord horn located further toward the back in the human standard anatomical position while dorsal refers to the back/upper side of a wide range of animals without regard to standard anatomical position. It is one of the three grey columns.
